Israeli operations in the West Bank and Gaza have intensified despite the U.S.-brokered ceasefire that began on October 10, which had paused months of fighting, enabled limited Israeli withdrawals, and allowed for a major exchange of prisoners and hostages. However, in the West Bank, tensions spiked after an overnight Israeli raid near Ramallah left two Palestinian teenagers dead. Local residents reported that forces entered Kfar Aqab shortly before dawn, with the Palestinian Authority’s health ministry later confirming the deaths of 16-year-old Sami Ibrahim Mashaikha and 18-year-old Amr Khaled al-Marboua. The incident adds to a rising toll in the territory amid escalating confrontations.
