Gender Justice in Yemen: UNDP Experience

서아시아센터는 HK+메가아시아연구사업단과 공동주최로 UN개발계획 임원혁 선생님을 모시고 <Gender Justice in Yemen: UNDP Experience> 발표를 진행한다.

The presentation shares UNDP’s programming on Gender Justice in Yemen from 2019 to 2021, at the three levels of country, city, and community, as experienced by the speaker. It aims to describe diverse gender actors and norms and their interactions with the UN agency, attempting an answer to the question of “Do Muslim Women Need Saving?” asked by Lila Abu-Lughod (2002).
