The meeting was primarily led by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar. T\u00fcrkiye participated as one of the signatory countries and reaffirmed its support for the Palestinian cause; however, its actual influence during the summit remained limited. While the United States acted as the main coordinator of military and financial assistance, Egypt served as the host and geographical mediator, and Qatar maintained direct communication channels with Hamas\u2014thus holding real agenda-setting and decision-making power\u2014T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s role was largely symbolic and political, functioning as a moral and diplomatic messenger of Palestinian advocacy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prior to the summit, media outlets reported that T\u00fcrkiye had objected to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s attendance, and Netanyahu ultimately did not participate. This indicates that Ankara\u2019s diplomatic pressure had some effect, yet the overall negotiation agenda and drafting process were still dominated by the United States and Egypt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although the final declaration mentioned that T\u00fcrkiye \u201cmay take part as one of the guarantor states to oversee the implementation of the ceasefire,\u201d this role remained largely declarative. In contrast, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s involvement in the humanitarian sphere was more tangible. Through T\u0130KA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) and AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority), together with Turkish NGOs, Ankara dispatched hundreds of aid trucks, medical teams, and temporary field hospitals to Gaza. Nonetheless, humanitarian engagement does not necessarily translate into political leverage or negotiation power.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fundamentally, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s mediation efforts face structural constraints\u2014its relations with Israel remain strained, making Ankara\u2019s proposals difficult for Tel Aviv to accept. Moreover, domestic challenges such as post-election economic hardship and the refugee burden limit T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s diplomatic capacity. Consequently, while T\u00fcrkiye succeeded in reinforcing its image as a moral leader and advocate of Palestine within the Middle East, its actual influence on policy decisions and regional governance
