While many Syrians are returning home, most appear to be men carrying only backpacks, raising questions among politicians and the media in T\u00fcrkiye. It is widely believed that these individuals are initially returning to assess the situation in their homeland, leaving their families behind in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n Over the past 13 years, many Syrian refugees have had children in T\u00fcrkiye, who have grown up as Turkish citizens, received education, and enjoyed economic stability through government support. This indicates that a significant number of refugees may choose to stay in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n Given the prolonged duration of the war, both Syria and T\u00fcrkiye are likely to face a long and challenging road to returning to normalcy.<\/p>\n Trump criticized T\u00fcrkiye for what he described as an unfriendly takeover regarding the end of the Syrian Civil War. However, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan dismissed these claims, emphasizing that the sovereignty of Syria can only be determined by the Syrian people.
